How a Total Internet Newbie Turned a Simple Passion Into An Incredible Oprah

First let me get this huge disclaimer out of the way.

around either.

And I'm not talking about any sort of Private Label Resell Rights (PLR)
site that converts for crap because whomever created it spent less time
on the sales letter than they did creating the name of the product.

As great as that all sounds - someone handing you a magic button that
cranks out money with no effort on your part - that just doesn't exist.

And if you really think you're going to make tons of money with
something like that, then you're absolutely insane.

No no. The idea behind "Your Instant Site" is NOT that we're giving you
some sort of "magic button" web site that spits money at you. I mean,
please, think logically about this for a second...

Now, really... If I could instantly create sites that would make me
tons of money over and over again with no additional effort on my part,
why in heck would I tell you about it? Seriously. Why would anyone tell
you about it? I mean, if you had a magic button that pumped money out
every time you clicked it, would YOU give it to anyone? Of course you
wouldn't.

Unfortunately, there is no magic button.
(or is there???)

existed and never will, yet people have always been selling it and will
continue to into the future.

Because, sadly, that's the story that sells. People want so badly to
believe this magic button exists, when someone tells them that it's
there, they simply must have it. And then they spend the rest of their
lives buying the same story over and over again because they're
convinced that the story is true - but somehow that magic button just
didn't work.

But, at the end of the day, what those salesmen are really just telling
us (and selling us) what our ears want to hear.

It's pretty unbelievable to think about isn't it?

A site that literally was set up in a matter of seconds, somehow
managed to get my wife on the most powerful television show for her
market (or almost any market) ... In less than 5 months.

Now let me clarify something here.

She wasn't "trying" to get on the Oprah Show. It's not like she was
deliberately going after it - and to be completely honest - until we
got the email from a producer there, the thought never even crossed our
minds. That's part of what makes it all so unbelievable.

But you can't even imagine what that has done to her self-esteem, and
most importantly for her BUSINESS.
* She's being invited to celebrity parties & networking events.
* People are constantly sending her products that they want reviewed.
* And she's even close to closing her first big advertising deal with
a well established brand.

You have to know something about my wife first though...

Andrea knows literally NOTHING about marketing online.

If you've purchased a marketing course or even read a marketing book or
two you're way ahead of my wife. That's not to say she doesn't know
what she's doing, but she really doesn't even ask ME for marketing
advice (and rarely implements suggestions I give her anyway)...

I'm saying this for a very specific reason.

My wife had a passion. She wanted to make a difference in the lives of
women (moms in particular)... she really didn't know "how" to do it,
but that didn't stop her.

She just jumped in and decided that she'd figure it out along the way.

And without getting into any of the "magic money buttons" or "get rich
quick" stuff, she looked at what she really needed to get started.

And a website was exactly what she needed to get started.

I mean literally... that's probably the ONE thing she asked me for.

"Harris, how can I get a website?"

I had to laugh a little bit. After all these years. I've set up nearly
100 websites for myself & 1000's more for customers and clients. But
what really made me chuckle was that, lucky for her, I created a
software solution for myself, that would allow me to instantly set
websites up when I needed them.

All I did was choose a domain, click a button or two for her and she
went to town. (Psst... This is the very same "button or two" that

So she just started writing.

That was the logical next step in her mind. If I start writing, people
will find me and then I'll build a following.

I kept telling her over and over and over again that it wasn't that
simple. You have to put in more effort. You need to learn SEO and
linkbuilding and other crazy voo-doo marketing strategies ESPECIALLY in
the market she was getting into because it was very crowded.

But she disagreed. (What do I know right? I just market online for a
living).

At the time I was creating some beginner traffic training so she just
picked up some of the basics from that and just did what made sense to
her at the time.

Write a blog post and find places to promote it.

She joined Twitter, Facebook, and a few other sites that had people on
it specific to her niche (other moms like her). She then would promote
her posts there as soon as she would write one.

Then the last possible thing I expected happened...

One follower on Twitter... then 20... then 100... then 1,000... and
right now she's at well over 30,000 followers (and this was before the
whole Oprah thing happened).

At this point she wasn't making money with her site, but she didn't
care.

I mean can you imagine those "mini-successes" and how that would just
make you wake up every day with a skip in your step to work on your
business?

Fast forward a few months...

One Wednesday afternoon my wife was on her laptop at Whole Foods
grocery store when she got an email...

She read it and she almost fainted from excitement... her eyes got big
and a huge smile came across her face that I could literally feel as
she called me on the phone.

"Oh my gosh Harris - I think I just
got an email from the Oprah Winfrey show"

"Let me look at that" I said... I didn't really believe it, thought it
might be a scam, and wanted to verify before she got her hopes up.

After a few minutes of research, I called her back and told her that it
was 100% legit.

Later that day she got on the phone with them and before you know it
they were flying her out the next day to record a segment for the show
with a woman named Stephanie Nielsen & her family who had an incredible
story. And the week after that she was flown to Chicago to be on the
couch with Oprah herself along with Stephanie and her husband.

It was a whirlwind couple of weeks. I got to be Mr. Mom for a little
bit as Andrea got flown around the country and treated like a rock
star.

Can you imagine how proud I was of my wife in that moment? I mean, she
was following her passion, taking the baby steps necessary to turn it
into a business, and talk about MAJOR success - she's featured on The
Oprah Winfrey Show...

So, what's this all got to do with you?

Well, obviously I'm not going to be teaching you how to get on Oprah or
any television show for that matter.

And the biggest point I want you to get from this is not some sort of
"complex" things my wife did or didn't do to create a fast growing
business for herself. To the contrary...

In fact I'm not sure I could create a more perfect story if I tried.

My wife took the path of least resistance. (Hello! She's a mom. She's
busy enough juggling her kids & other responsibilities.)

In fact, the single best thing that she had going for her was that she
wasn't `blinded' by all the internet marketing info... the complex
theories and alleged formulas... the latest "domination", "assassin",
or "seven dollar secret" products that everyone is selling. (Heck, she
didn't even have a "Day Job" that she wanted to "KILL"!)

She looked at what she needed to have in place and she just got
STARTED.

She took action.

And it wasn't with this massive goal of `dominating Google', `killing
her job', or especially -- `getting on Oprah' ... I mean don't get me
wrong. I think having goals and a vision is crucial, but she just got
started with a very simple idea of what she wanted to do - and she set
out to achieve it.

Did she have the idea that she wanted her business to make money?

Absolutely.

But she also saw that just because she wanted to make money doesn't
mean she can't be passionate about her site.

She didn't set out buying some course to `make $15,000 per month on
complete auto-pilot' ... and to be completely honest, she NEVER would
have achieved what she did by going that route. Why do I say that?

Because she would have spent 6 months trying to implement `this' or
learn `that'.

Instead, each day she did what she wanted to do knowing that every
single day she could SEE that her business was growing. Little by
little. Day by day.
* It was getting more followers.
* Her list was getting bigger.
* More and more people were writing to her and commenting on her
site.

I mean can you just imagine those baby steps? Those little "victories"?

Each day felt more and more successful for her and she would jump out
of bed every morning to get a little work done.

(And it wasn't costing her any money.)

As I write this I'm wondering if she even knows what "Pay Per Click" or
Google Adwords even is.

She didn't spend money on things.

But she WAS building a business.

And that's what so many people I see completely missing out on... they
buy this `secret' or that `formula' or the ol' "magic button" because
they think it's going to solve their immediate needs and allow them to
do whatever they want.

That sounds great, but it's not a reality.

The huge checks these "gurus" show off all over the place are mostly
checks from SELLING those products to you. I'm going to get in a lot of
trouble for saying this - but many of them KNOW that most people will
never even get their site set up to try out the secret formula they
just purchased. Heck! Some of them even say so right on their sales
letters!!! We all know that most people never get past the technical
hurdles. I got sick and tired of seeing this cycle over and over again.
And that, my friend is why I got rid of all the technical hurdles for
you ...

You see, as great as those `magic money button' stories sound... and as
much as we want to believe that it's going to work for us somehow
without even setting up a website... deep down I think you know that

The Hostgator/'The Planet'/Softlayer datacenters in Texas seem to be the epicenter of this activity in conjunction with anonymously registered domains of various TLD's but primarily .info domains at Godaddy which, in our opinion, has some sort of connection to the domains of goldmint.in and goldmint.org. Google has begun to notice this and has begun to lower the ranking of these sites and put our original sites back on top of the search rankings. These actions, as far as we can tell, negatively impact the use of the keyword 'zorgium' as a search term and provided little benefit, if any, to the perpetrators.

ZORGIUM note to content providers: If you don't want your page to appear in Zorgium's search abstraction then put an exclusion for "Zorgium" in your web server's robots.txt file.
